Behind the Glass

Hi, I’m Emily Johnson, the artist behind Glitter Flux Glassworks! I’m a Greenville, SC native and self-taught creator with a passion for the weird and whimsical.

All of my stained glass designs are original—dreamed up, sketched, and brought to life by me using the Tiffany method. Each piece is hand-cut, foiled, and soldered with care (and usually a little glitter).

I also create paintings, and I love blending the two mediums to explore color, light, and texture in unexpected ways. Inspired by oddities, funky nostalgia, and the magic of light through glass, I make art that sparks curiosity and joy. Thanks for stopping by, I’m so glad you’re here!
