Behind the Glass

Hi, I’m Emily Johnson, the artist behind Glitter Flux Glassworks! I’m a Greenville, SC native and self-taught creator with a passion for the weird and whimsical.

All of my stained glass designs are original, dreamed up, sketched, and brought to life by me using the Tiffany method. Each piece is hand-cut, foiled, and soldered with care (and usually a little glitter).

I also create paintings, and I love blending the two mediums to explore color, light, and texture in unexpected ways. Inspired by oddities, funky nostalgia, and the magic of light through glass, I make art that sparks curiosity and joy. Thanks for stopping by, I’m so glad you’re here!
